Casa LaSasso is a great place to enjoy the non touristy side of Nicaragua. In Masachapa, where it is located, you find a mellow fisherman's town close to good surf. Frank is a great bilingual host if your spanish is no fuerte. As James said, very cold beer, and Frank also has a regulation boxing ring. On a Sunday when we were there, some locals got in the ring and went a few rounds with a referee overseeing it. I am not sure, but I think Frank may be the next Mayor of Masachapa. A great vibe and it is right on the beach. Thanks for the hospitality! See you this summer, Rick
